Shirayuki

Shirayuki

Have you ever watched one of those cooking shows and wondered where in the world you could find a dessert that looks super gorgeous like that? Believe it or not, Jakarta now has plenty of options for those kind of dessert, including Shirayuki. Despite being one of many, Shirayuki has its own quirk and is definitely one of the best.

With its extensive menu and continuous innovation, Shirayuki entices diners to come back for more. The famous cotton candy dessert comes in different shapes, colours, and flavours. Check out their social media for seasonal variants; expect everything from Keroppi to Santa Claus. Pair the cotton candy with any of Shirayuki’s smooth soft-serve ice cream—yum!

We’re also partial to Shirayuki’s Kanten dish. Kanten, a close cousin of agar, is a staple of Japanese people’s summer months. The kanten jelly is pushed through a wooden tool that is open on one end and has a cutting mesh on the other end, creating a noodle-like shape. It’s cute and delicious!
