Rustic Vibes at Talaga Sampireun Restaurant

The name Talaga Sampireun is an ode to a famous retreat facility in Garut, West Java. In this place, visitors get to take a break from the hustle bustle of city life and relax in huts that surround a peaceful lake. Drawing inspiration from that, Talaga Sampireun tries to bring the same atmosphere to the restaurant: beautiful faux lake filled with fishes, complete with little huts where family gets to eat and converse privately. Add that with green plants, water fountain, and lesehan style seating, you get the complete rustic village experience right in the middle of the city.

The positive experience goes beyond good atmosphere. It extends to the service and food as well. Every staff is friendly and speedy, making sure you have the best dining experience possible. And true to its Indonesian name, Talaga Sampireun serves classic Indonesian dishes that we all love—generous in size and full of flavors, just right for our tastebuds.

One of the highly recommended dishes at Talaga Sampireun is Nasi Liwet, rice cooked in a special kind of pan called kastrol with herbs. It is served with chicken, vegetables, and savory coconut sauce. Other notable dishes are Iga Bakar Penyet, Cumi Goreng Madu, and Tumis Bunga Pepaya. Imagine enjoying all of that with a glass of fresh fruit juice while sitting inside a hut with a serene lake view. Life is good indeed.

Not stopping at that, Talaga Sampireun also allows diners to feed the fishes, making it an ideal place to bring your children. Children’s playground is also available with various entertainments such as balloons and toy cars. Currently they have outlets at Bintaro, Puri, and Ancol. Talaga Sampireun opens everyday from 10 AM to 10 PM.
