Waroeng WAHAHA

Considering that Bali is the bebek bengil, babi guling, and pork ribs capital of the world, it takes a lot of bravery for a restaurant in Bali to proclaim itself to be serving the best pork ribs in Bali. One restaurant rises to the occasion: Waroeng WAHAHA at Seminyak.

While Waroeng WAHAHA is not lavish compared to other establishments in Bali, it still is a cosy place to hang out and eat—in an understated kind of way. The outdoor seating area is decorated with colourful hanging lanterns that light up nicely at night.

How about the hyped pork ribs? While Waroeng WAHAHA’s pork ribs is indeed perfectly cooked, seasoned well, and falls off the bone easily, we struggle to find that extra something that could really make it the best pork ribs ever. The jury’s still out there on this subject! Having said that, the sweet pork satay is really juicy and delicious—the dish of the day!
