Take one look at Nampu and it’s hard not to be impressed. With classic izakaya-style Japanese setting, shouji sliding wooden doors, and a beautiful garden, diners will feel a sense of peace and tranquility at Nampu. Combine that with a nice sushi bar and great teppanyaki, Nampu is a great pick for both first-timers and seasoned Japanese food lovers.

2. Rayjin Teppanyaki Dining Bar

From the moment you enter the restaurant, Rayjin makes you feel like walking into a warp and suddenly finding yourself in Japan! While the menu itself is a fusion Japanese cuisine, everything else is quintessential classic Japanese hospitality: loud greetings, professional staffs, and top-notch food quality. We should probably note that almost everyone on social media has different favourites at Rayjin - it is that good!

3. Edogin

Are you feeling extremely hungry? If your answer is yes, and you’re reading this sometime on Friday or Saturday, then you’re in luck! Every Friday and Saturday nights, Edogin offers an extensive teppanyaki buffet - sushi, sashimi, meat and seafood for the grill, dessert - that is loved and ravely reviewed by many diners.
