4 Delicious French Restaurants in Bali

4 Delicious French Restaurants in Bali

It might seem a little odd to be eating French food in the middle of the beautiful island of Bali - but tourists can get a little bit homesick too, right? Let’s not forget that there are also locals who want to enjoy cuisines from all across the globe. In fact, there are quite a number of French restaurants in Bali! Without further ado, these are some of our favourite French restaurants in the Island of the Gods.

1. Pearl French Restaurant

Few things scream ‘traditional date’ more than an intimate dinner at a nice French restaurant - and Pearl French Restaurant might just be the perfect place to do that. Countless diners have raved about Pearl all over social media for its extraordinary food, great service, and romantic atmosphere. Eating to-die-for desserts surrounded by lit trees with your loved one certainly sounds promising, don’t you think?

2. Sakala

French food at Tanjung Benoa doesn’t get any better than Sakala! Come around noon to take a dip at the lovely pool while munching on tapas-style dishes, or later in the evening to sample Sakala’s delectable French cuisine - among them is its speciality ‘Wild Kangaroo Tenderloin’. Food adventurers should consider trying the degustation menu - a feast for the eyes and the tongue!

3. Les Buku

Dubbed by some diners as ‘best kept secret in Bali’, Les Buku is not the typical fancy-pants French restaurant. Many people confess that they haven’t heard of Les Buku before, but are pleasantly surprised by the delectable authentic French cuisine that they get with such affordable price. For unpretentious, hearty French food, Les Buku is the place to go!

4. Teatro Gastroteque

The food at Teatro Gastroteque, a fusion between French and Asian cuisine, is perhaps best described as being ‘as unique as its name’. Aside from the extensive a la carte menu, diners can choose between three, five, or seven-course menu, or simply pick the degustation for a little bit of everything. Teatro Gastroteque also has an extensive collection of wine - just ask for a recommendation!
