Caffe Benne, The Best Coffee Shop from Korea

In Italian, Caffee Bene literally means good café. Caffee Bene was born in 2008 in South Korea. Since then, they have taken the world by storm with more than 1000 outlets all across the world. With its homey ambience and simple interior design, customers are invited to stay longer under the dimmed yellow lights. It also helps that they equip the cafe with lots of electrical plugins, perfect for those of you who work on-the-go.

One of the most favorite menus at Caffe Bene is a dessert called Green Tea BingSu. It is a Korean-style shaved ice topped with green tea syrup, red beans, almonds, and walnuts. Not stopping at that, the dish is also completed with whipped cream, green tea gelato, and mint leaves. Yum!

Besides BingSu, Caffe Bene is also famous for its selection of Misugaru, a homemade multigrain drink. This drink is made of five types of grains: barley, black sesame, brown rice, black soybean, and black rice.

Out of all Misugaru, the crowd’s number one choice is Hot Misugaru Latte. Served with milk, Misugaru Latte is light, fragrant, and warming. Misugaru Frappeno, a sweet ice-blended drink, is another hit. The flavor is unlike anything else available at other coffee shops.

Caffe Bene is open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM. In Jakarta, you can find them at Lotte Shopping Avenue, Menara Rajawali, and Menara BTPN. They are also available at AEON Mall Serpong in Tangerang and Dago area in Bandung.
