Jittlada Restaurant: Thai Food at Its Finest

If you love Indonesian food, chances are you’re going to love Thai food as well. Both are packed full of spices and heat. There is a great range of flavors in Thai food, and one dish can taste very different from the other. When it comes to Thai food in Jakarta, Jittlada Restaurant is definitely one of the pioneers, and remains as the go-to place for authentic flavors from the Land of Smiles. You can find Jittlada at big malls all across Jabodetabek area.

For starters, you can give the famous Papaya Salad or Mango Salad a try. Both are light and refreshing, spicy with that intense acidity. Definitely a great start to your meal time. Follow that with a portion of Tom Yam Kung, famous Thai spicy and sour soup with prawns. Definitely not a dish for the faint-hearted; the spiciness will make you sweat! For milder flavors, green curry is a great option. Still full of spices, but with less heat.

It won’t be the complete Thai food experience without some of their sweet desserts. Mango and Sticky Rice is always a good idea. The sticky rice tastes really good with the soft, sweet, cold mangoes. As for drinks, Iced Thai Thea is always perfect for hot, sunny days.

If you’re looking for a place to have good, solid Thai food, Jittlada Restaurant is the place to go. The price is worth the quality of food. It’s a great place to have weekend meals with family and loved ones. Jittlada is not the best place if you want to hang out for a long time, but hey, who cares when the food is awesome?

P.S. Here’s a fun fact: The Jittlada Group also manages White Elephant and Chandara, both also serve delicious Thai food! Now you know where to go when in the mood for Thai food, yes?
